Shoe Repairer Forum

Recommended Posts

It's with some sadness that I've decided to end my role as a Moderator at the end of this year, due to other concerns and partly my health which has been up and down in the past 4 years.

If anyone would like to put their name forward to take the reins off me and help abababa out so they're not stuck doing it on their own, please feel free.

Thank you to all who've supported me in the past 14 years.

Rick.

I think we all have a great dept of thanks to

Ascap29 (why did you change your username rick!)

onest’ andy

and

hibsjo

the original moderators who where the first members to make 50 posts back in 2005 when Facebook was still wearing a nappy.

all spent hours & hours building the content and keeping things in check along the way. The only certainty in life is things never stay the same & imo 2005 when we started this adventure is a lot of topics and ideas ago.

Rick pretty much held the reins after I finished and I really admired him for that. Strong characters like him are what make this industry so unique.

Ricks the true legend of the shoe repair forum.

Thanks Rick x

Rick is one of the most awkward, cussed, difficult people I ever came across in nearly 50 years in this industry.

However I am honoured to be considered a friend of his and wish him all the very best. He is most definitely  one in a million.

Don't give in Rick    ( i Know you won't anyway)

Very best wishes

Robin

I have no idea where that came from but what an excellent example of a tautology in a sentence :D

Thanks. Robin, and to the rest of you; it means a lot.

Rick.
