Don't see scotland getting shut down anytime soon, even the area i  live in has  only had 7 and its a pretty large area.

It's a good time to do  stock take and get things done we have  been putting aside  for the last couple of years.

I've just put my wages in my personal account as I'm overdrawn with bills due and that looks like it will be the last one!!

Not taken enough this week for a wage, hope the government hurry up with these grants!!!

I'm heartbroken that this could be the end but that's the fine line I've been trading on for while now.

michael youre not alone mate, no wages for me this week and i can't see that it will improve soon. I might go months like this.  i too would welcome the grant with both hands. but every little bit i turnover will go towards bills. but may just close for an enforced holiday and get through the list of jobs my mrs has for me!! :).

as long as my family and I can stay out of hospital, i don,t care about the money. it will come back. l just hope London does not go like Milan or the cities you all live in.

Experts on Sky News saying social distancing should carry on for a year with 6 months like this and 6 months with stricter distancing!!

Jesus, the whole world has gone to pot with one virus...Absolutely crazy and just doesn't add up

The virus is doing what it was invented to do, i am no way a conspiracy theorist but i am 99% sure this virus is man made and not from eating Bats or Pangolins that's just a cover story.

What's your thoughts on a possible lockdown??

Should we have one, will we have one & whats the plan to survive if it goes on.

I’m closing after today as are most of the independent shops in my parade. Only the convenience stores and chemists are open.

im glad I don’t have to sack my part timer but would have liked some help for the self employed.

i know a rates grant will come through but that will soon be gobbled up for fixed costs I guess I would like 80% of my average salary. Good luck everyone.

The rates amnesty is already in place, stop your direct debit now. Freeze your mortgage if you have one. Get on government websites for stuff you can do.

There is help out there. All the very best to you all, even hugh candoit xx

There is a moral part in me that says I should close to protect myself and the public. But another part of me says I'll close when Timpsons close.

They like the moral high ground, free suit dry cleaned for people on job interviews, save the children..etc, let's see if they shut before they're forced, to save the weak and venerable!
