Do Charles Birch ignore emails?

Recommended Posts

I have had same delivery charge issue on 3 occasions in last few months, called them and problem solved same day and credit note issued next day. so calling some times is better. Having said that I have ordered one product 3 times this month and all 3 times received wrong product. I have ordered .95 3/8 BLACK PINNED TOPPIECES all 3 times received .95 5/16 BLACK ,  information on packaging saying .95/38   while inside the pack is .95 5/16. I called all 3 times  and explained the issue and they supposed to check if the packing is wrong and send some correct ones through the post but its nearly a week and I have not seen any yet.

I'm trying to contact Charles Birch about some delivery charges which I believe have been wrongly applied. I've tried the accounts email, David Macdonald, a couple of office staff... absolutely no replies.

Is this just my bad luck or normal practice?

I've contacted David MacDonald for you and he says he has no unread emails that are addressed to him.

If you send me your proper details through PM, I'll forward them to him as he's obviously quite concerned that you're correspondence isn't getting through and he would like to address the issue with you.

Rick.

Why doesn't David come onto this site and defend his Company?  I am astounded at the lack of communication from wholesalers on this site, especially SPONSORS!!!!

I'm not suggesting that they air their dirty washing in public, but at least respond, it's not as if they don't know the site exists!!!

Shocking.

Carriage charges from Birches.....tell me about it!

Every single month i have issues. Two shops and both orders get sent to one address, if one order falls below carriage free there is always a carriage charge. Have told the rep and office on more occasions than i can remember.

I stopped using them & alright I was probably one of their smallest accounts, but my Dad was a wholesaler in the motor industry & if a customer he had stopped ordering he would move hell & high water to get them back with monthly or even weekly visits from him, not his staff. I've never even so much as had a phone call. All offers sheets dried up once the monthly statements stopped. I've probably been removed from their systems, who knows.

Suppliers need to be on the money 100% to maintain what they work so hard to achieve. Market leaders are called so for a reason, they lead the way. I commend you Keith on your involvement with the industry, we all know you've had a great run with the big boys yet you've still got time to come here and keep involved and accountable it’s a good strategy.

Thanks Lee

I do my best! But it riles me that so many people put our trade down, complain about this that and the other, while some suppliers treat the trade like idiots. What is the point in sponsoring this or any other trade site if, as a Company, you don’t get involved?

Madness, but then I suppose you all don’t matter to some
