The anti birch brigade are out in force.would we see this reaction if it was colledges sks or davenports,they are there to be shot at,its like the tesco affect always attack the big company,birch are bound to make some mistakes the rep in question is one of the best reps in his trade and what he dosent know will embrass you. Why is this forum so anti birch is why birch dosent bother looking no more they sponser the forum but you all attack them.they support cutting edge and cutting edge show meals which other companies do not support.

If you dont substitute stock people moan

Try to be fair in criticism if your closing accounts down ask to speak to a director,

Some mistakes!! really.

 

I have been lied to on numerous occasions, one of the reps tried to pass my work off as there own even had the cheek to say it was done by there staff (i could prove otherwise).

 

Short orders, incorrect pricing, charged for goods not recieved. I could go on.

 

I deal with Aldridges, SKS, NW Keys, 3D, Davenports, Colledges, Brisant, Keyprint and many other companies and none of them come remotely close to B*****s.

 

Anti B**** yes i am with bloody good reason.

Birch's new range of deluxe umbrellas have been selling very well for me, and I have high hopes for their new range of deluxe straps. Minor, slightly irritating, substitute and shortage problems, but on the whole . I still love Birch. Widest range of products of virtually any supplier, practically my one stop shop.

Can't comment on reps, never ever see them (from any supplier.)

I know nothing about this Horseman fella, but Birch are pretty good. 

 

Sure they sub items and sometimes out of stock, but with the vast quantity of products they sell, this is understandable.  If I ever have an item I need 100%, I phone them to make sure. Staff on the phone are friendly. 

 

I know it may not be the popular opinion but horseman (whoever he is) and Birch are ok.

Instead of cancelling your account, why not just stop using them and keep them on the back burner. You never know what new Lines they may introduce, I do this but regularly check "suspended" websites. This week I'll be ordering from one supplier I haven't used in years, in response to a price increase by another supplier, who's now on the back burner.

I for one think birch are a great company to deal with and i have done for years and well before the horseman was part of the company (we all know who he is) there web site is amazing too, yes they might slip up now and then we all do and other company's do too it only takes a phone call to sort it out, ring the horseman he can sort anything out he goes the extra mile (8 furlongs actually) so stop moaning about them i would be lost without them. The horseman is a top bloke and I consider him not just a great rep but a great friend and I'm sure a lot a people on this forum feel the same too.

Well said, we all love the horseman his sense of humor and willingness to help out - even delivering 'urgent' order on a Saturday.

i wish the other companies out there would 'catch up' and get there acts together.

I've got to be fair, I've used Birch for 30 odd years.. had a few small indiscretions, (but have with most companies)  I find that Chris Wilson still has a passion for our trade, and I like him & how he runs his company. To me they are the best supplier in our trade.
