I am trying to find a premium quality toe box stretcher for womans/ladies high heel shoes. This is mainly to stretch patent leather. These shoes have narrow toe boxes, and do require stretching for many people. Could anyone recommend a high quality toe box stretcher, that will not crease or damage the outer material, nor deform the shoe. I appreciate your assistance greatly. Thank you. I have been watching some videos, and clearly the metal ones are better for durability. Any suggestions? and what kind of price should be realistic? I am independant, and Louboutins are my favourite designer, that is all. I am just getting into the basics of cobbling. I dont have any contacts in the trade I am afraid. Any help is most appreciated. Best help I can offer is suggest you be wary of stretching any kind of patent leather footwear, it does not tend to stretch very easily without damage. Also like the guys that said patent leather won’t get stretch i two will tell you the same thing but nonetheless the machine is for sale for stretching shoes. elfman Posted April 1, 2022 Report Share Posted April 1, 2022 you have been given good advice if i was you i would heed it ,as for stretching the toe box ,that will all depend on where in the toe box area you need to adjust if it happens to be where the toe stiffener is then its very unlikely that it will give you what you want as this is akin to a thin film of plastic which is heated and formed over a last to maintain the shape of the toe once it has cooled it is unlikely that it will give any more ,and as said peyton leather is not exactly known for stretching with any good results Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

stephen wilshaw Posted August 14, 2024 Report Share Posted August 14, 2024 just started spraying christian louboutin red soles but i am not getting the flat surface, i have scowerd the sole but cant get it completely flat i have used leather filler to try to make it completely flat,but when i have sprayed the soles red and finished them of with the high gloss finish there is still indentations, is there any tricks of the trade to get that perfect finish. hibsjo(SCO) Posted August 15, 2024 Report Share Posted August 15, 2024 Had this discussion before. how do you make money on a stretcher if it takes 48 hours to stretch a pair of shoes even if they are expensive shoes with customer willing to pay a fortune on their shoes? ive got a beige pair of these shoes in the shop that were left years ago, going to soak them and stretch them to see what happens carry on! keithm Posted August 27, 2024 Report Share Posted August 27, 2024 3 pairs a week at minimum £6 a pair, 24 hours per stretch with spray. 52 weeks a year, £936, our stretchers are £395, go figure! Lifespan of a stretcher 50+ years, maintenance, a little oil for pennies! I made a fortune out of stretching 25 yrs ago when I had shops at £4 a pair! Just saying. We did have 3 at one point £6.95 a pair always had some on especially in the 80's/90's when all women where wearing Stilleto heels (£3.95 a pair back then) we always had a queue waiting even with 3 machines in use.
