abababa
I've been asked to cut this key by a local NHS consultant... it's for an on call room. As multiple doctors will be using the room they need 8 keys. Obviously this will be done FOC if I can do it. Does anyone know the blank? Cheers CitySafe
grahamparker
No but it looks like the suppliers details have been removed. abababa

Count Muppet
Looks like one of the Yale master blanks would cover it abababa

Aldridge Security
Customer's blank looks like it would have been HD. Have you tried looking under the old Yale 6-Pin Security range? Looks like it could possibly be from the YR section. abababa
Count Muppet
Jma ya14d may have been the one I was thinking of. not so easy sitting at home without being able to see the keys themselves and have the catalogue in your hand abababa
Count Muppet
The scoured part on the key would normally show the blank to use if it was one of the Yale section keys for example YR AB abababa
rmarsters
I think YA84 would be the pass key for that abababa

Auto Key Wizard
The Government are funding the NHS Did you realise that there are businesses supplying products and services to NHS, as a knock on effect of the current situation? They are not doing this free of charge!
abababa
Im aware of that. That's why i started my explanation with "in my mind..." In my mind, it's the right thing to do at this time, however insignificant its effects may be. da miller, kobblers and MartyCoggs 1

silverfern
Bit dodgy that the top has been filed or ground off.
k4mrc
Quote - Obviously this will be done FOC i is this for the staff? or actually the NHS? if your cutting free of charge because they have one of those uniforms on - how do you know it’s for hospital use? if word gets about (and it will) you will be inundated by all fingers crossed for you that it is not abused
Lock Stock
You should be careful doing a key for this system on a mastered blank. These system were never any good on a large scale and being a hospital I would assume It’s a large suite. They got round this problem with multi profile sections, you cut this key on a master blank and how know what else it will fit. ponsaloti
nxasdf
Hi, I can confirm HD YA84 or JMA YA-14D is the pass key for this section. The specific section is indeed YR-AB. I'm not sure why an NHS consultant would approach a locksmith for extra keys, surely the building manager/estate would provide these to staff at no cost if they are required by staff to do their job. Whoever scrubbed the numbers off, possibly done this to stop unauthorised persons taking the key to other unauthorised persons to make unauthorised copies. Or possibly not. Go figure.
