grahamparker
Good luck Ababa. Without moderators sites like this quickly fall down. Well done Rick for sticking it out and doing the great job you do. kobblers, CitySafe and da miller 1

I don't get paid - hell, I don't even get a bloody Christmas card from anyone, never mind the owners, and yet I spend hours a day checking the site to make sure everything is running smoothly - hours I could spend better. I don't do it because I'm a controlling, officious prick - I do it because I love this site, its help, and most of the folk on here, and my trade. I became a Mod because Lee had faith in me and I didn't want to let him down. That doesn't make me a mug. It makes me someone who cares and if that's people's opinion of me then that says a lot more about them, than me! There are members, (usually the bullying, insecure type who think we should all be like them and take as much money from our punters as we can and belittle those who don't subscribe to that business model; basically, the sort of idiot who can't grasp the concept of regional demographics and market forces) on here, who know who they are, who would like to see me as a prick and to see me fail - i don't give a jot what they think as they're nothing but pathetic bullies. I am ill. I've had multiple strokes and a shit-load of other health problems and, yet, here I am: trying my bloody best to please you all. Hell, I restarted member of the year and paid for it out of my own bleeding pocket to keep people engaged. I don't want thanks but a tiny bit of appreciation would go a hell of a long way. If you think it's a mug's game then feel free to vote me out and anyone else who gives a shit about this site and then see what happens to the only real resource that we have to help each other out in really challenging times. Some of you might be doing well but a lot of us are struggling due to a changing market and the ubiquitous death of the high street and we need this place to learn, modify and grow our businesses. I suggest that if the best you can offer is criticism then you go fornicate elsewhere. Rick. grahamparker

Don't take things so seriously, I for one appreciate all that help to make this site work, sometimes the written remark is taken in the wrong way. kobblers

Lee
That’s great news. It’s nice to see the site continuing its journey with a Merry band of men. Obviously my life has changed since my days at the helm but I still follow the site regularly and am pleased it’s continuing. I see quite a few technical errors creeping in with the site build but the content and membership is still amazing. keep up the good work Rick your loyalty to the site from day one is the strongest of anyone and Thank you ababa.
