Yes, i have. Bought to do Mazda/Ford 8C but i have tried on one vehicle and it failed.

But done 5-6 fords with the new super chip and it works a treat. I bought mine direct from Xhorse for a great price with 10 chips included so it has paid for itself already.

Have not tried any other chips yet. Only bought for cloning capabilities.

Great little addition.

Quite possibly user error

I have done a dozen vehicles with 8C systems AKL

XT27 prepared from original, this was then used to put vehicle into programming mode, after 5 min security wait it was coded to vehicle with Codeword

there was a quit per quo at one point , keydiy helped with the remote side and in return got the cloning and production side , but both work on their own machines .

despite denial to the contrary keydiy were also behind the base software for another well known manufacturers remote generator .

That's interesting, As I always use MAZ20RT0 or MAZ24RT0 (small head)

I used JMA equivalent of MAZ24RTE (large head) and the insert placed the transponder 7mm farther back than the MAZ24RT0 and gave none start,

But placing transponder closer is then okay

Are you using the new style MAZ24RTE (large head)?

  • 2 months later...

Ive just had a Ford Ranger come back, Was a spare key 8c cloned using mini VVDI in a Jma Blank, I think it was the Jma blank causing the issues, Was not starting sometimes if you rotated the key it would work the odd time, So I cut a spurious key and hopefully it has solved the problem, Like said it might be an issue with 8c not being close enough to coil.
