SteelCityShoes
Which brand of ink is it? If it's water based it's easy to get out. Have you tried anything to remove it yet?

SteelCityShoes
Haven't touched it, in case I made things worse. ACI I think from College'sI'm not familiar with that one. Put some ink on some old scrap material or leather and try and clean it off. Try suede combination cleaner first, if not acetone usually gets out most things. Worst cases sometimes need thinner. If it's waxed based, heat it up and press toilet paper on it first. If it were me I wouldn't worry too much about making it worse. If you try to clean it and it works, great. If you ruin them, then you're no worse off than now as in their current state you're still buying a replacement pair. thecraftsman and kobblers
Flash
If the shoes are white fabric (i.e. satin) bleach will remove it, I have bleached dye out of many fabric shoes and redyed them a lighter colour.
Simes
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll speak to the customer when she gets back for them. Easier to pay for a new pair I think. But if she wants me to have a go I will.
Paul_
ACI ink is water based and scrubbing with water will move the stain, however on beige shoes you'll be lucky to get it all off. As previously said, own up, pay up and you'll be fine.
