grahamparker
All setup and running just done a Volvo s60 2005. Waiting time was listed as 19 minutes (was quicker) but i cut the key while waiting so total time from start to finish including cutting was 15 minutes. grahamparker
Second key was a 2009 golf. Total time including cutting was 22 minutes. Few things to point out. Write down the MAC address on the bottom of the M box before screwing it all together. M-Snoop require 3 turns, 1st turn lights up left hand, 2nd turn lights up right hand, 3rd turn lights up both together, you can also cut the key while awaiting the decode process as the customers key doesn't have to be in the machine while decoding although it is required once more before programming. It was straight forward registering the Mbox with silca and setting up the WiFi. All in all a pretty impressive piece of kit. Hope the wait times can be improved but they have both been quicker than the RW4 said when i started the process. grahamparker
I do not know, while decoding the rw4 showed a screen listing the approximate time left so i assume it is contact with the M box all the way through the procedure. Ring Matt @ Silca i am sure he will know if not he will find out for you.

Lock Stock
Skoda 07 plate took 4 minutes. Punto 04 plate took 7 minutes. Both times included cutting the key. That's more what I was expecting. I'm assuming you are cutting the key while the machine is calculating the code.

An326
This morning there was a problem with the copying of the chip 48 the customer has a volvo s80, 2002 when copying data to the machine, for some reason, reading takes place only once, not three times, as it should be. Can anyone help with this question? Or should we wait for the update on M-Box? Although three days ago copied the same to 48 volvo xc70, the whole operation went well. NXPT
Isn't a problem of M-box . it depends on the CAR To make copy you need to get 3 different data from Volvo car (m-snoop it is very useful , the two led blinking confirms you the correctness of data recorded ). for unclear reasons Volvo old model send only one different data every 10 / 30 minutesit depends on the SW version of ECU.I suggest do proceed as follow :1)insert original key +M-Snoop into ignition2) Turn On and Off (led 1 Blinking)3) remove key from ingition4) Wait at least 60 sec5)insert original key +M-Snoop into ignition6) Turn On and Off (led 2 Blinking) if led 1 is on fix you need toremove key and wait more time 7) remove key from ingition8 ) Wait at least 60 sec or more9) insert original key +M-Snoop into ignition10) Turn On and Off (led 1&2 Blinking)11) Ready for copy An326
An326
client came with the car (Volvo S80 2002) this morning I tried to do as advised above. all the same, even if the intervals between the plants of 60 seconds or more. the data is copied only once. We have to wait for a solution from silca
Matt@Silca
I have not had the opportunity to try and clone a Volvo S80 as yet. I know that when cloning ID46 keys if you are unable to obtain the second acquisition, then one solution is to lock the vehicle with the central locking remote and then unlock. This will allow you to obtain the second acquisition and proceed.
NXPT
have you tried to waiting 30 minutes or more ? happened that a S60 needed 35 minutes of delay from each ignition start , to get second acquisition .
grahamparker
First key I did was a S60 and it worked first go I have since done another s60 and again no issues.
An326
Reporting Again the client came with the same machine (volvo s80, 2002). I waited 40 minutes between reading. nothing succeeded. Snoop dumped data from the first reading, and after waiting 40 minutes - again first reading. We have to wait for a solution to this problem by Silca dawn
