hearing a lot of rumours that minits coming back to england they couldnt come back for a period of some years when mr t bought them out guessing this was 10 years

I’m down south and haven’t seen anything to do with them. I’ve not heard anything through timp either. I wouldn’t be surprised now if they did come back though. They probably pay more than timp do so I’m sure a lot of people would jump ship.

I wouldn’t say they was bigger according to their site they operate 281 shops which is nothing compared to timpson which are probably easily around 1700 shops now not including their others shops.

They’ve got at least 950 in Europe. They’ll have a lot more in Australia and Japan too

wouldn't say they were better payers than Timpson , I left them in 1985 best thing I ever did , now you can slag timpsons all you like (im no fan ) but I worked for both and timpsons were  much better employers

Timpson are bigger, most of Minit was purchased through Management buyouts but still retain the branding and Company name, Australia is one example.

I heard the tale off a fella at cutting edge, don't realy think its anything to worry about, after all were the original mister minit  serious competition to any one think if they do come back it will be as a franchise  ( hope they don't want as much money as  mr crafstsmans workshop ?)

Mister Minit in most of the world is a franchise.

They were struck off companies register in 2011, restored in 2015 but are a non trading company at the moment.

I'd imagine looking at the date of the original post, this refers to Cando4U. They have 3 or 4 shops in Somerset, owned and run by the Harris family one time directors (?) of Minit.
