grahamparker
6 months ago, got 1 customer who's shoes we have half soled at least a dozen times. Hate the bloody things. He is close to retirement so hopefully never again. kobblers
grahamparker
Never used latex on Dri-Ped. Never used any adhesive. We used to use polyurethene on the driped and let it dry for a couple of hours then use 2 coats of neoprene. Also used to nail the join with large head tacks never had any come adrift. This forum is amazing, i joined today and was only thinking about the old dri-ped leather soles last week, unreal co-incidence. I used to repair a lot of these in the 'hole in the road' in Sheffield in the 80s then in Doncaster in the 90s. Haven't encountered the stuff in 20 years now thank goodness.
