Flash
As Flash said 50/50. Used to use a hot knife years ago, It's a wonder I'm not dead now from the fumes. I well remember those days, remember there was a shortage of units at one time, had a backlog of over 100 pairs, Worked on them all day when the stock came in, that did nearly kill me. Bren
Hi guys did the dr martens today could believe how easy it was cheers for your help Piece of cake as long as stitching is intact and midsole is solid. Also easy to do half sole and heel on using PVC soles and heels.

Easy to do, but not as good as original units, but can be used to keep the cost down if customer doesn't doesn't want to pay.
Bren
Easy to do, but not as good as original units, but can be used to keep the cost down if customer doesn't doesn't want to pay. I offer both options. The nerdy, trendy, collector type are happy to pay twice as much as the worker who usually likes the extra grip from commando pattern.
