Keyline Transponder "cloners club"

Selling mine coz it's shi@

I have had my request to return this to my supplier accepted, the down side is they will only give me a credit note, so do I accept the credit note or do I wait to see if Keyline can be seen to be acting a lot quicker than they are ?

Its a double edged sword really, because if & when they fix it and I've returned mine, I'll end up paying more than I did originally.

I had the exact same thought. Get in touch with Trading Standards.

Normal rules don't apply to trade suppliers, read the terms and conditions. Cousins give no guarantee at all with their supplies of watch parts.

The credit note may be the best offer you will get.

If a product is not 'fit for purpose' then have to give you your money back. Mention trading standards.

  • 2 weeks later...

im on a number of forums overseas , i have read that members from overseas are reporting that the queue times have been improved , where they were talking of times from 11 minutes to 16 minutes start to finish , as overseas i dont know if they are just lucky to avoid the peak times due to different time zones , i read this from a similar sort of thread to this one about the queue times greatly reduced already .

so my question is has the uk users noticed this improvement yet or are they still experiencing long queue times ? i will start using it again for clone keys if this is the case and its sped up.

Although they are a massive world wide player I still see them as a small business in that they are a family business.

Massimo would have got straight on it with heart felt feeling. You're not dealing with a cooperation but people.

that is very true , a large company but run like a family business with the same enthusiasm and service .

their factory is well worth a visit , as this family sentiment and pride runs throughout the whole workforce and their love of locks and keys is obvious , their onsite lock museum outstanding , oh and they also have a nice line in red wine too

I'm guessing this means that there will be no cheap machines for sale anymore?

How much are you all charging for one of these keys cloned?

You should be charging appx £95.00 , as these were mostly obd before , and make some money to invest in your business`s ,but sadly  alas .....most will charge nearly half or 2/3 of this .  I charge £95.00 to £120.00 for a plain key via obd  outside my home , £150 if i travel out , so its very little difference via cloning for work involved , will be good to clone volvo and new business there, so i`m not giving my investment away £120 volvo key on the van outside my home.
