@mad cobblerWhy would someone new come in if they didn't sense there was an opportunity to profit?  You have to ask yourself are you currently bringing your A game to the area?  I notice your website is down?  You are also operating from a trailer on the street and not a retail unit?

My trailer is in the heart of white river shopping centre nxt to the barclays pod

My website is secure any fully working no probs

do we need  a retail shop to work from ? As its worked for me for the past 13 yrs As with timpsons

Not much profit on the 1.99 keys

He's trying to sell

Good points

hes certainly seen an opportunity when he’s looked round. He’s gone straight into battle with you directly with those prices. He’s literally trying to kill you off. He knows he can’t get rid of the timpson pods but once you’re gone, he’ll put his prices up

sadly it’s your own fault. You’ve had it your way for years and I suppose you took your eye off the ball a little.

Your advertised times give the impression that you're semi retired or just not interested. The trailer that looks like it could be driven away at any point gives the same impression too.
Your website is very basic

The best thing you can do is make sure you gave 100% quality service, work and materials. Keep your prices fair and ride out the storm. Have a look at updating the website and the displays on your trailer.
You’ll have annoyed some people with some of your signs. People are strange. You can guarantee someone has thought to themselves “how can I trust him to change my watch battery when he can’t even spell it?”

If he don’t make enough money in the first year he may panic, try to cut his losses and move on

sorry if it sounds like I’m not being supportive. Just trying to point you in the right direction.

Apologise as you are totally wrong !!.

Website works perfectly.

The clue will be in the "not secure" part of the address bar, it certainly does not work on my laptop Chrome but does on Safari suggesting the website needs some updating to make it https and not the http it is now

That's great, constructive criticism.

Nothing wrong with a trailer set up.  We traded for 12 years from a trailer.  Then moved to fix premises.  It was a perfect start for us and we stayed because it worked.  Now there are 4 of us so a trailer would be a squeeze!
