x minit uk
So, I’ve had this machine now for nearly 2 years, it took Sks 12 months before they realised there was a fault with the settings and a guy from Spain came over and visited each shop that had one to correct it. One of the plus points of this machine is that it cuts the Yale superior keys very very acutely. Now all of a sudden it can not decode the track on them. Their response to this is ‘ you will need to file a bit off the customers key on the shoulder so that it fits into the jaw better. ‘ Do you think this is wise, what would you all do. David Horrabin
I’ve had a Futura Pro LE for 18 months now and after some initial teething problems I’ve cut hundreds of Yale Superior/Platinums/Magnums and never had a single problem Maybe I’m lucky ! I had one of the first generation Futura's to land in the UK, decoded/cut many Yale Superior/Platinum & Magnum too. All dimple key I cut on it, Mul-T-Lock, Garrison, Brisant, Gatemate and even L4V Tesa T-Series (on genuine blanks)
grahamparker
I know quite a few people that have had issues with the early Futura machines all seems sorted now with the new versions. Anyone who cuts keys professionally like me then you really need a Triax and Unocode backed up with the Silca SKP Software. Unlike some on here, that's what sets you apart from those who think they're the canine's cojones - your advice is invaluable and has helped me out of so may sticky situations - add to that you don't belittle members with barely hidden, childish snipes. Ian platt
Had my name down on waiting list for the first futura machine . the machine was an automatic you can be the best key cutter in the world but there is absolutely nothing the operator can do when the the machine keeps snapping tracers randomly report and your told that it shouldn’t happen have someone look at the the machine half a day alter the settings change settings but it will still cut keys that are slightly different can’t cut 2 keys exactly the same I’ve heard a lot of people say they never get a key back I say you’ve been lucky because my machine has struggled from day one and has probably been the worst purchase I’ve made out of all key machines I’ve bought in 36 years x minit uk

Only one side needs producing to give a visual depth/space tool for all 3 axis. Side two maybe cut to 5-4-4 type if desired, giving two options on one blank.
