I'd been looking at the machine, and the customer had been looking at me for about 50mins

I pissed myself when Matt/silca told me the machine was waiting for me.

Customer, not so happy.

 

I'm surprised silca haven't address this simple fix.

Been there and I also get constant write errors and keys work please help silca

Did my 1st Volvo yesterday. 2004 V70.

Tried usual way. No good.

Tried and waited 5mins between each sniff. Job done, 20 mins in total.

good to know.  I have a V70 coming back in this week for my second attempt with the Keyline machine.  Will try this method.

I tried to do a VW Golf this morning, got 2 solid lights on first cycle then couldn't get anymore lights. Tried about 20 more times, also waited about 10 mins and still no more lights.

Any ideas what was wrong?

 

Did a Peugeout 308 later in the day and all ok.

You'll need to repeat the snoop procedure. On some audi's that I've done it's taken 4 or5+ attempts to capture the data, but it will do it in the end.

Also i increased the time cycling the on off procedure

Thanks for that , when you say Time cycling  do you mean counting longer than 20 seconds in between first & second key in put ?

Had a 1999 Volkswagon Beetle in yesterday, read in the RW4 as ID48 went to copy but would not sniff any data from the car.

 

Tried resetting the snoop, removed the 3 volt battery and fitted a new one even though the battery was testing at 3.01 volts.

 

Same again, tried 5 times and gave up.

 

First ID48 failure for me.
