It was the safety switch for the jaws when in resting position. I had 2 brand new still sealed in stock so it was a 5 minute fix.

Davenports has known issues but is crap even when working. There is a message as soon as you log in warning of this. Will be fixed by 2030 as a rough guess.

What's wrong with it ?. Motor blown ? Could be the capicitor blown (not sure if it had one but seems to ring a bell) which is an easy fix. Got a few spares for my rekord plus so if you want to bring it if your still calling tomorrow.

Remove core. insert blank and look at heights, decode as required. Easy job. You may need to lift wafers internally to remove core using a blank or pick.

Had this happen with our machines a few times, also make sure jaws are firmly pushed down and no swarf is stopping them from seating correctly.

Cannot cut them yet, have to buy the locks to get the blanks. Got 1 in as a sample as i thought the Brisant D blanks may have fitted. Not a lock i am interested in selling as we either sell budget (asec vital) or 3 star. We have sold over well over 1000 Asec vital cylinders this year alone but less than 50 3 star cylinders. Never seen the point in 1 star cylinders even if you add 2 star handles to make 3 star certification, for the extra cost you may as well just buy the 3 star anyway. Also avoids repeating stock for each size in each classification.

Anything Above X22 is a different blank. We have sorted our issues with Brisant and only use genuine blanks and have no problems at all with them. We did test some of the TX-22 blanks i was sent as samples and they where hit and miss on my stocked cylinders, some worked some didn't.

Contact Aldridge specials with the key info and an image of the key, they may be able to obtain the keys witha letter of authoristion for you. If not they may be able to point you to whoever took over the suite as someone may have done.
