StevenB
Simple as that really. Sold a star lighter this morning to a customer who looked quite young - then she said it was for her husband, so we figured it was okay. Can't immediately find anything online about it, but it would be good to comply with the law if required...

StevenB
I thought that as they were sold without fuel in and were classed as gifts then there wasnt an age limit?? It's a good point - we don't sell lighter fluid, so there's no way they could set fire to anything with it. Unless they had Ray Mears' levels of bushcraft with the flint striking mechanism. Lee
Matches and lighters It is not illegal to sell matches or lighters to children. However, it is recommended that you do not sell these items to children, who are unlikely to have a legitimate use for them.
