Web_Engraver
I use Glenway all the time. Our FREE delivery is Tuesdays, usually 11.30 am. Anything ordered by phone or internet by 3.00pm Monday is delivered by their driver who also collects any returns & overordered items. Can't fault them. =D> =D> =D>
Lee
What are the carriage costs like now? Well I don't get a FREE delivery & carriage is still a sting in the tail at times, although I now pass a lot of it onto the customer, so far without retort. Diamond Gals
Hey Lee so how do you charge the customer for delivery then? is it orders under a certain amount or do you charge a standard rate for every order? thought about doing this, but have had a negative reaction from customers?!!! regards mel

Lee
I tell the customers if they want the items quick then there is a charge for postage & I have kept an eye on the carriage charges so have a fairly good idea of what they are likely to be depending on the size of the order. I do say that if the customer is happy to wait a week or two for delivery I will add orders together & soak up the charge. So fast service costs a bit more, standard service is catalogue price. its amazing how many just say " thanks ok I'm not paying for them, just get them ordered" Lee

Michael
I just tell them catalogue prices don't include engraving or P+P.If they can't find one I have in stock then they'll have to pay it. When you explain it's not worth me ordering there £6 trophy when the postage is £5.64 unless they cover the postage, they generally understand and pay it. =D>

ANDY
wouldn't it be good if they gave you engraving plate sizes on fast track i always have plate engraving ready for when goods arrive but sometimes i end up with odd ones that are a little too long or look a bit small on something
