Silca Futura Pro v Miracle S10

I never thought I'd be saying this  but IMHO  the  Miracle S10 is the superior machine it decodes & cuts all the Avocet ABS &  Ultion  keys . The manufacturer  will add a key if you send them the details or card number really quickly if required .The only keys  the Futura does better are the LF 30R  & similar small  keys . I'll see what I think in a years time .

silca quality has nose dived in recent years , not just there machines , the smart ariel plus ive read of 2 today that the port broke on first job on both , i now prefer keyline car keys to silca car keys .

they seem to want to charge over the top for their silca name but sell products that are not always worthy of that name.

its fine wanting to be the most expensive , but if the case they should have superb quality control and superior products to justify this , this used to be the case.

their top end machines are still the best on the market though. they should have stuck with top end , its like their silca remote keys , no different to the china keys you can get anywhere .

Silca are pricing themselves out of the market on many products, a bit like Yorkshire Teabags and Heinz products

I've just tested the accuracy on both the machines on various keys . The Miracle MS10  on average was within  .01mm    & the Silca was .05mm  both machines were calibrated . Like I said before the only keys the Miracle fails on are the small L&F keys unfortunately all it needs is a better clamp .

Hi Peter do you have a solution for the Platinum yale keys (The PD, PE, PF) and the Superior 1 star? (SA, SB, SC) ?

I use a RST TM303  &  HD Punto for these it's just quicker . I was doing a load of Ankerslot keys yesterday & the   S10 is a lot faster  , It also decodes the ABS keys  the Silca does not .

Yes it does if you use the Federal APE key cutting card which is available on the SKP and my Triax so i assume the Futura pro has the same card available.

perhaps  someone should tell the Silca rep as he told me it couldn't  when setting up the Futura.
