Paul_
Trophex have today confirmed the news that they are actively inviting schools, sports leagues and clubs to attend Trophex themselves to find suppliers of their engraved awards. They are trying to spin the line that it we can exhibit ourselves and sell our engraving services to them, who would purchase from us when they can talk direct to a wholesaler there who will supply cheaper and carry all the stock they need. Sorry Trophex that the end of me attending and I will also be wary of any wholesaler who exhibits there too! Paul
grahamparker
I believe this is just the beginning and we will see many other trades following this path. Covid has done immeasurable damage to many industries. For me personally Covid has been the greatest thing that has happened to my business as we managed to staye open, but i still feel for a lot of you guys that had to stay closed and have struggled through the last few years. Not only that you probably lost a lot of good customers that no longer return. Trophex Direct is just a bad, stupid idea that will alienate many of the people in the trade. Trendsetting Awards
We will not be exhibiting at the new Trophex. We cannot support this format for obvious reasons. We along with the majority of the trophy wholesalers are exhibiting at the TEAM (Trophy, Engraving, Awards & Medals) show on 23rd Jan 2023. We outlined our position is the attached email sent last week. grahamparker, kobblers, Paul_ and 1 other
JamesST
Another way to shut down the smaller retailers. Hopefully more wholesalers will follow suit, although i'm sure some will come up with a reason to attend!

Bronco78th
What is this TEAM Show? Is it first year this year or has it been going awhile (pre-covid)? Never heard of it. Only had a chance to do one Trophex, 2020 Before the first lockdown. To be honest Trophex Direct would suit what I do. But looks like most of the 'traditional industry exhibitors' have jumped from Trophex to this TEAMS Show....which is running basically at the same time. Been planning and in comms with alot of the TEAMS exhibitors to make some equipment purchases so will defo be attending TEAMS instead of Trophex this year at least.
