LockandKey
Possibly an E90 profile, I have some on my desk - if you get stuck give me a call
grahamparker
The E90 profile is a standard 6 pin cylinder which started life as a Deseo cylinder until Abus bought the company and released the locks as E90 it will accept a ul054. LockandKey
YUP ^^no Deseo directors now employed by Abus & E90 is no longer a 3 star BSi system, so a restricted key & non floating cam with thumb turn are being designed by Abus for the MK2 E90. Restricted key profile will be a formality for domestic use when Aviva etc digest the guidance papers. grahamparker
LockandKey
E90 floating cam is soon to be no more because someone at an MLA meeting opened them all with a GJ thumb turn wire. You can't take some people anywhere. Which is why I said the E90 is no longer 3 star rated due to floating cam design - and the MLA has nothing to do with it... they don't control BSi or issue a Kite Mark? Some people like to sleep with a promise - I prefer a real woman & a Kite Mark really helps.

LockandKey
If the Kitemark helps you sleep with a real woman then I bet she will be almost moist if you mention the Diamond mark to her, women love Diamonds. Pneumatic Nora, my inflatable (ex)girlfriend, couldn't care less for the lock markings. I took her back in the end, she kept going down on me. Errrm I have no problem with women (or talking to them) but it's clear you live alone - hamsters don't count as they don't have opposing thumbs or a voice. Oh yeh - OP, I have an ABUS (Germany) direct account - so if you're still struggling email me & I'll ask them direct, instead of posting a load of neanderthal crap and pretending to be the ultion man! You mean you have a direct account with Abus uk and you are supplied direct from Germany. This is a new strategy by Abus and is a very dangerous path they are treading, they are actively seeking the biggest Abus suppliers and taking there accounts over from the wholesalers. They are offering a % better than from the wholesaler and supplying within 10 days direct from Germany.
Mick Friend
I'm pretty sure having known ABUS for perhaps 25 years and having been flown out and visited their factories in Germany that they will not supply direct, I know I wanted some parts and they were happy to take my order and supply through a wholesaler. WHich was why I was asking? Because I smell cow dung. Unless perhaps you buy huge amounts like 25K of a product at one go
grahamparker
You need to keep up with the times Mick, Abus have decided to cut out the wholesalers for the bigger customers and are actively dealing direct now.

grahamparker
Just to clarify for you Mick, I have had an Abus direct account for over 10 years ever since i took on my pfaffenhain section with them, there was also and understanding that i could purchase any product from them direct BUT only if it was NOT a stocked item with any of the uk wholesalers. This is no longer case and they will supply any product direct if you spend enough to warrant this happening. This is why some Abus products can be sold so cheaply on the likes of Amazon and other internet sites as it is no longer a level playing field anymore. Mick Friend
Thanks. I understand the key thing if you have cylinders and suites, but never knew they were going direct- I had to buy via a wholesaler some time ago, when I wanted the CCTV entry systems. Oh Well things move along I suppose, Glad I'm retired. As my friend Richard said that means working 5 days instead of 7....
