NYKeys
For those of you with many key cutters wanting to keep track of who has cut keys (if you get them back!) how do you do this, if at all?
Auto Key Wizard
With three of us in the shop, it doesn't really matter who cut it, it will be checked and re-cut or replaced. Saying that, if a member of staff persistently cuts bad keys, they will get a bollocking from me. Happy Dude

Michael
Might be a pain in the arse, but what about a simple letter stamp on each key with staff members initial or allocated number. Awkward on some blanks and time consuming on large orders but it's your reputation that's at stake!!
Auto Key Wizard
Simples... Usually the person who cut the key will in turn take payment, that persons name or clerk number will be on the receipt

grahamparker
CCTV Does the trick, you only need 1 camera on the counter, if the customer knows the date and approx time it is easy enough to find.
Auto Key Wizard
We don't entertain any return that's not supported by valid receipt
grahamparker
We don't get many returns so we NEVER request to see a receipt, we may get the occasional chancer but it isn't worth arguing over. kobblers and Mike at Vauxhall
x minit uk
I'd never blame my colleague otherwise I would have to cook my own tea. Mike at Vauxhall and kobblers 1
