hibsjo(SCO)
i normally do two jobs on this so do the text as one job then do a dot in the centre of the job so once the text has been engraved it goes to the centre of the QUAICH and asks for the second job to be done this stops it going back to the top left hand corner of the job and marking the BOWL there might be an easier way but thats how i do it and i use the 8" diamond carry on! Gray
Vistool software lets you set the finish point without all that faffing about......Just saying!....Also the thought of engraving the inside of a bowel made my eyes water
petercoulson
Hibs, you can also set a pause anywhere in work or end and the machine will do just that. Press the pause on computer keyboard as you type and it will put a symbol on screen to show you hibsjo(SCO)

petercoulson
Not sure, on the versions (older ones) I have used it puts a square with an arrow in, when it gets to this point it just stops and raises the cutter until you press go again. Maybe Beware can help as it may be a version issue?
beware
To be honest I've never heard of that but it sounds like a good idea. I will ask on Monday...

beware
As a side point, if you put your job measurements in to be as small as possible around the job, when dinished the machine returns to the job origin not the machine origin.
Craig Gardner
didnt work for me it puts a square on the screen for me and wants to engrave the square what am i doing wrong? carry on! Your using a gravo graph machine not a umarq one with vistool that would make it much easier When you see the light I will give you a discount on a new machine on my website Craig kobblers, wellsy9, hakeemz and 1 other
