Lee
Can anyone help me! I don't want to lose my customer! Here's the story! About an hour ago I ordered a TOY43TO from 3d-group (toyota key to take a tpx1 chip) I then tried to use my Credit card to sponsor Jay for his Snowdonia Marathon http://www.justgiving.com/jay-edwards only for my card to be rejected. I then phoned my C/Card company & apparently my card had been cancelled after some suspicious activity & a new one is on its way. so I phoned 3d to explain this & said could they send the order & I'd ring through a card tomorrow & they won't help me out. "As we've been caught out so many times before" Well thanks guys! Can any of you guys help me out! A very disappointed 3d-customer! Lee

kobblers
That is crap service, especially as they know who you are For the sake of one key I'm surprised they couldn't accommodate you, it's not like you were ordering £££££s of stock!!! Lee
I ain't commenting on the service further Rick, I didn't want to post up a topic that looked like I was on the scrounge with no justification.... hence the back end story. I couldn't see anything on the SKS web site & although I ordered a keyline blade from Davenports, Sadly (sorry davos) you can't always rely on getting stock quick enough from them & their order will probably arrive Friday or Saturday. StevenB
You see the problem Lee is that you don't put yourself about enough in the trade. People just don't know who you are... You really should think about making more of an effort

3D Group
Lee. Firstly I am sorry if you are unhappy with our service. Before posting here it may of been worth contacing me direct and I could of explained the reasons in private. Secondly you were given the oppunity to do a bank transfer. Thirdly you haven't ordered from us since November and the card on flie had an expiry date of the 11/11. Our staff do not know every customer inside out. They do not know you are a forum adminstrator in the trade. They treat everyone on a even level. Even if you spend £30k a month or £50 every 6 months. This is why we have got a good reputation even though we have only been doing trade for 4-5 years. We have in the past given credit to anyone for 24 hours if they do not have a 30 day account but some companies took our trust and didn't pay up until will made numerous phone calls for payment at extra costs to us. So on a low amount order profit is very minimal. Profit can only be £2 on a £20 order. To be fair if someone came into a retail premises you would allow them 24 hour credit? Trust is ruined by others in the trade. So best way is to vent the frustration is at those. We try very hard to keep everyone happy but sometimes this is not possible. We have rules in place to make our own business run smoothly so we can pass the rewards onto your customers with low priced products with excellent services. We are never going to be perfect but we are trying very hard to be the best in the trade. If you have any problems you all know my email. I have placed it on here many times. Lee
Before posting here it may of been worth contacing me direct and I could of explained the reasons in private. I needed this key tomorrow there was no time for mucking about, hence topic on here as I knew someone would be able to help me. Secondly you were given the oppunity to do a bank transfer. I was at work & had no way of connecting to the internet to do this. Thirdly you haven't ordered from us since November and the card on flie had an expiry date of the 11/11. & I made a specific phone call, as soon as I realised there was going to be a problem with my card. because I needed the dam key & felt the ladies no rules bending attitude wasn't at all helpful, I even said "even though there are mitigating circumstances". Our staff do not know every customer inside out. They do not know you are a forum adminstrator in the trade. They treat everyone on a even level. Even if you spend £30k a month or £50 every 6 months. This is why we have got a good reputation even though we have only been doing trade for 4-5 years. I totally agree with this sentiment, that is why I don't go about shouting the odds about who I am, but I did go to the effort to make a phone call, to try to get the key as soon as I was aware of the problem. I didn't want to let MY customer down, regardless of who HE was. If you have any problems you all know my email. I have placed it on here many times. It is dan.sanderson@3dgroupuk.com Thanks for taking the time to read & reply. lee why did you not pay by money transfer or use another card you didn't mention that was offered. dan fair play rules for one and all everyone knows where they stand. I did not have my pin generator at work to go online & I only use one business credit card, rhiannon was at work so I couldn't even phone home ! & there's my point! if I'd had other ways of paying for the order I'd have been phoning to pay for it, but I phoned specifically to ask for a bit of leeway & got the door slammed. so I posted this topic for help as I couldn't (in my hurry to make sure one was on the way) find the blank from an alternative source. I never said in the original topic I was unhappy with the service I'd received from 3d I said "they where unable to help me out" I also agree windy, I now know where I stand. 3D Group
Lee again we are sorry you thought our rule was not justified. We have had no choice to implement the 1 rule for everyone otherwise we get 'well you did it for Lee, why not me?' attitude. Luckily I am on here to give our side of the story. As you said you were a unhappy 3D Customer and as you are well respected on this forum people can take this the wrong way. The girls in the office are instructed not to give credit because of the issues from our accounts department but they have told me they did look into your account as you were desperate but orders have not been placed for a long time and as they do not know every customers private details on credit terms they took that approach. The guys on the phone here all types of stories why people cannot pay and it is hard to know what is the truth and what isn't. Personnally over the past 15 years nobody has allowed me a days credit if I was not able to pay. Again if anyone has any issues with our company good or bad please feel free to send your comments through to my email. We all know Forums have a tendency for topics to be twisted. Very disapointed 3D customer means to us your unhappy with the service or is there a hidden meaning? Anyway lets move on and hopfully all our other aspects of our business is the best service around. Lee
So long as your happy with your "Rules" then I'm happy. I say two things to my kids regularly. 1> Be lucky. (always the last thing I say to them as I turn my back) & 2> Bend the rules. your first line did make me smile (in a nice way ) knowing what I say to the kids. All sorted out, never a problem that can't be solved Thanks to Phil, Cobkey, Helicopterrob & especially Hibsjo (Sent me one!) for offers on the blank, which arrived this morning. I have now cut the key, thankfully keeping my promises, not losing the customer & getting the money in the till. SOMETIMES ALL IT TAKES IS A LITTLE HELP WHEN YOU ASK & you guys never fail to help! SRF rocks. I now have a replacement credit card & as promised to Joe I’ve made a donation, I’ve also made a donation to Jay for his marathon efforts! Thanks also to Davenports, meaning at least now I have a blade in stock for next time! Morel of the story :- If you haven’t got the stock you risk losing the turnover!
