cobblers.keys
I've had a hatrick this morning. Can't believe it BUT the opposite way around. 1st customer came in for a 4x2" traffolite bench plaque I said £18 she said I thought it would cost about £70 (omg I thought). 2nd customer came in for a spring bar fitting in a watch I told her £2 she said is that all I expected to pay about £10 put your prices up she said. 3rd customer came in with a Ingersoll and AVI-8 watches for batteries in. I told him I can put batteries in but do not pressure test them so can not guarantee water resistant after taking the back off £6 each he said don't worry about the waterproofing that price is brilliant do them. I don't think my prices are too cheap or too much. Saying that you don't get 3 in a row like that every day. Better than the skin flints that do come in sometimes. Count Muppet
I think you’re too cheap but as long as you’re making enough money to keep you happy and don’t have to worry about the bills, that’s what matters

Give me a price quote for the same jobs if you don't mind.

He said great can you cut me 30. he then paid and left. I must just be lucky i suppose no issues, no drama. Just another happy customer.

WTF! My shop is in south/central London. I often say to "complaining" customers, "It's cheaper that way" point outwards towards the suburbs, "And it's more expensive that way" point towards central London. I think my prices are about spot on. Mike.
