inscriptio
Thinking of getting one of these. "NEW Bianchi DECRYPTOR MINI Transponder Machine + TKM Starter Kit - ID 48 Cloning". The TKM heads seem expensive can I make any money?, can I clone anything other than TKM heads?, what should I be charging? Any info gratefully received. Thanks Colin. damen.rudi
i was very interested because with this device it is possible to make the keys of the VAG group. Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and Seat are very common over here. The guy who explained me said that we could only make them till 2003. I think so much money for a key of a car at least 12 years out. An innovation OK but to my opinion wasted money. The customer is not prepared to pay as much. inscriptio
rapidlocks
the cars to 2003 is only a generalisation and not definitive , ive done cars alot later , at present it will code any car of vag group using the T6 id48 chip , it wont do at present models using the canbus chip , although many models used canbus from 2004 , audi A3 from 2003 , other models didnt start using canbus chips till much later , so to say it can only do models to 2003 is innacurate , better to say it will do all pre canbus id48 . though like silca they too are working hard at cracking and releasing canbus coverage too as i suspect are others , as others have said the flood gates are about to open on id48 cloning from many suppliers . the tkm heads are not as cheap as most would like i agree , but in fairness are also excellent quality and none have failed me , so reliable and good quality , im not sure at this point if these are expensive or not as at present they are unchallenged as the only ones to have released id48 cloning for vag , so until others release their coverage in future , no one knows if it will be to a chip or special head yet , no one knows what the cost of the competitor chips and keys will be yet , so at present its difficult to know if tkm heads are expensive or competative until we know the cost of the rest as nothing at present to compare them to , time will tell . one thing im sure of is that most will sell it as an add on at a cost or with additional hardware needed , i wonder if this will be as affordable as the keyline option ? interesting times ahead with alot of interesting items about to hit market. inscriptio and completelocks
rapidlocks
i think all who have the obd option on vag or most makes will choose obd over cloning , due as you say to being cheaper and in most cases quicker , though i did a mk4 with BOO last week a rare spare key , 884 did it in 6 minutes which was a result , so has its uses . this coverage will always appeal more to the key cutting and cloning shops rather than the mobile or those with obd options , so has its place for many , never hurts though to have a reliable back up plan . rapidlocks
the quickest ive had one of these clone is 3 minutes , the longest was 28 minutes , but as you know , most jobs on these we get are all keys lost so cloning isnt possible , but when it is i use it on them. Massimo Bianchi
Yes Please let me know what can we do to assist you in this case. Have you purchased a product that you desire to return and in this case may we know the reason of your claim ? No problem, we are supporting our customers worldwide whatsoever either directly or through our network of distributors. I understand the different views and this should not compromise our commitment towards the locksmith industry. Thanks Lock Stock.

StevenB
I think Lock Stock's comment may have been lost in translation. If he's a member of your staff, Massimo, you need to rein in Carlito's enthusiasm for promoting the product. Or come up with more than one video to promote it so we don't get bored with the same one being posted over & over again. Or something like that. Maybe get somebody in the next video that looks a bit less shifty too... Lock Stock

Hi Massimo Like Steve said, Its was a joke about Carlo's being like a PPI salesman. But thanks for the offer, that would of helped if I was in that situation, shows good customer service. But thanks for the offer, that would of helped if I was in that situation, shows good customer service. Thanks for explaining, As a matter of fact I did not get the subtle joke - sometimes it is hard to follow the thread entirely - and thought it was a real complaint. I understand we might get too excited at times because in the end we hold the flag of our company which might be overexposed, we will surely control our "instincts" in the future, and surely some conversations would be better managed in person, face to face I mean. I just hope there will be this opportunity, one day. I started my career as a locksmith apprentice working for Eddie Aldridge, and that is where I come from, I owe most of what I am today to this locksmith community. And I don't say this whilst trying to be complacent, I know I still have too many things to learn in this professional life, and I try to keep walking on the right path.....
