kobblers
If I post this key to you can anyone supply me with a copy and a spare fob? It's for a Land Rover Freelander 1.8 on a '53 plate. Thanks, Rick.

kobblers
Thanks, Martin but I need a copy that's coded hence me willing to post my key. The only guy around here who does them is an arse and I refuse to give him any of my hard earned. Especially when he's only charging £1.35 for cylinder keys. Rick. ponsaloti
Where are you ?
grahamparker
It will be an id46 chip Rick so the vehicle will be needed to code it and to code in the fob. If you want to take a drive over to Grimsby i'll sort you one out for cost price of the parts for the fob and key. lockdecoders and kobblers
Auto Key Wizard
It might be a BMW engine on that year!!
grahamparker
Never come across on of those Tel. Can the key and fob not be done then ?.
kobblers
It's not a Beamer engine, Tel. I wish it was, lol. So, in plain English I have to have it programmed to the vehicle? @locksafe. I'm wary about the auto locksmiths around here. We've had way too many fly by night - two day locksmith course - cowboys in the past few years and I've heard some right horror stories from my customers about them. Besides, I'd rather give the full cash price to someone on here who I trust. Can you do it if I drive over, Graham? I'm only in Manchester so it's not too much of a trek. Cheers, Rick. grahamparker

Auto Key Wizard
Okay this is SAWDOC system Hitag 46. Graham should know a dealer supplied key won't be needed when a valid key exists. So, 1 x chipped key and 1 x Lucas remote coded can be done at a reasonable cost.
