Davenport Burgess
We are currently experiencing a power failure on our phone system which is limiting the number of calls we can currently take. We have been assured by our service provider that we will be up and running soon. We will update the forum with our progress later today. Regards Davenport Burgess Sales Team. kobblers
Bah, as if the website isn't hard enough to order from Rick.
StevenB
I placed an order on the website this morning, but couldn't order L167 (ERA Fortress) blanks as it said 'product not found'. I also tried using the B206B reference, and again nothing. Now the order has been placed, I see it's magically appeared again.

Mick Friend
In the old days - Peter used to call and drink your tea, eat your biscuits and take you order, things arrived later in the week - but we all got the 'mustave' Must have it today must have it tomorrow -no need to keep stock I can get it in by tomorrow. When the terror cells realise that to bring this country to its knees all you have to do is blow up major telephone junctions and towers and we will all sink slowly into the mire. kobblers
Phones are now back up and running. Sorry for any inconvenience. Davenport-Burgess Sales Team Is the website still on its knees, begging for mercy? It's just taken ages just to log in and then took me ages to go through 4 pages just to find the plain 1A blanks. It would help if they were on the first page..... Rick.

keysinthecity
Work has also started to improve the website making it easier to place orders and to search for products which will vastly improve the functionality of the Davenport-Burgess website. Has this work taken place yet? I tried using the website the other day and it was awful. I gave up and placed a fax. The lady on the phone at DB said they at the office use the SKS website as a reference. With a bit of investment into the website DB would be getting a lot more business from me. mrkeys
Davenports website does not take a payment from me, I have to phone up after I have made the order to pay for it. But I have to wait about 10-30 minutes for the order to show up at Davenports end on the "system" the reason being if they cannot see my web order I cannot pay for it. There are several other suppliers I usually go to as their websites take the payment at the point of checkout, much simpler. Although I have to say if Davs sorted their website I would probably use them at least 50% more than I currently do.
