acm2000
cheap ass lock on a "container office" doesnt fit through any keyholes on my guide, blade height is similar to that of JMA U26d anyone have some suggestions on what to try? other than telling her the lock is guff and to buy something that even remotely resembles quality

acm2000
similar, but dont think blade would be wide/tall enough, awaiting a phone call back from her currently
Gray
Try a Silca ER1 it's deeper.
acm2000
sadly it wasnt even close to going through the 25b/er2d hole on the guide

Count Muppet
sadly it wasnt even close to going through the 25b/er2d hole on the guide It may not have but would the new blank enter the keyhole? Those keyway panels are ok but you would be better of with some cuttlefish as you get much better results. A key that matches in those guides isn't always guaranteed to fit the door lock
hakeemz
wage slave, just for my knowledge..do you mean if a key doesnt fit any keyway on panel doesnt necessarily rule all those profiles on keyway out ?
Count Muppet
Yeah, I think so. For example. You know how a ul1 fits loads of key holes. Not many keys would fit into a ul1 key hole if it was made. Sorry if this doesn't make sense
kobblers
You could probably get away with a HD SUL1 as they're wider than standard universals. If you haven't got any send me a PM and I'll pop some in the post. Rick.
derek
possibly JMA wm-5d, used for vita locks

acm2000
thanks peeps cust came back, it worked on u26d lining it up using the D car key vice rather than the bottom edge of the key so it sits in the lock on the grooves at the right height despite the u26d not actually being the same, looked at all the keys suggested and none matched, bloody chinese crap, oh well, happy customer, hopefully they dont randomly stop working
