Phil Morland
I am about to purchase my first transponder machine and can't quite make up my mind which one to go for. I have read some of the other similar posts which were helpful but thought I'd post my specific requirements and thoughts in case anyone can offer help as to which machine is best for my needs. My operation is shop-based and I won't be able to go to vehicles, so I'm looking to clone only with the machine I buy. I'd like the machine to clone as many transponders as possible and be as future proof as possible. I can connect to the internet if needed at the shop. I'd prefer not to have to pay for tokens. The ability to program some remotes (away from vehicle) would be a bonus if possible. i'd like the machine to be reliable, glitch free and updatable. The machines I'm looking at so far are: Zedbull Bianchi 884 Silca Fast Copy Plus Zedbull seems to be favourite so far as, although there is a bit of a steep learning curve, I get the impression it is likely to be more future proof and adaptable than the others. But I like the Bianchi for its ability to programme some remotes. And Fast Copy Plus, well I've always been a Silca man when it comes to machines but it is looking a bit old-hat now. So, if anyone can help guide me with their experiences of these machines or recommend others bearing in mind my needs I will be very grateful. Phil. Lee
have to agree with craig AD900/key crypt-pro (came machine) is good, BUT for what your after you won't go wrong with the 884 ultegra. VERY easy to use, no internet needed other than for updating & it will do a handful of remotes, but you WILL need to go to the car with ANY machine you buy for certain chips, But you won't need to plug into the car, just turn the ignition on & off to get some out data from the system. Michael
I had 99% made my mind up to go for a Keycrypt Pro...then I read this post!!! My needs are the same as Phil, and liked the look and feedback of the Keycrypt Pro. May have to re-think now! Do you think the Keycrypt Pro is too much just for basic cloning? Phil Morland
Thanks Craig & Lee for your advice. One concern I have with the Bianchi 884 - does anyone know if Silca EHS heads can be used with it? Phil.

Lee
with either machine you won't use a silca head, although the keycrypt will do them there are better alternatives. Lee

Lee OK, interesting, thanks. The reason I asked is because at the moment I source my keyblanks from Aldriges for Silca & SKS for JMA. There appears to be a few sections that are only on Silca horseshoes. I was going to stay with these two suppliers only for blanks but I guess it will be no problem to source these sections as 'no transponder' blanks elsewhere. Learning curve here I come..... Phil. Phil Morland
The plot thickens: I had almost decided on a Bianchi 884 and read the manual which clearly states: "Limitations Of Use The Ultegra 884 Decryptor can be used exclusively to clone transponder car keys or electronic heads produced by KEYLINE." So that's my JMA blanks and transponders out of the equation then. Back to the Zedbull as my first choice I think. Phil.
grahamparker
Zedbull is a great machine,i have a zedbull and rw4 and what one cannot do the other will.
Lee
Zedbull or Keycrypt for your blanks, I've heard that for straight on the bench cloning the zedbull can be complicated, but having never seen or used one so I don't know from experience! I did a key & remote for my freinds Fiat500 this morning with the 884. I videotaped the procedure including re-syncing & it wasn't to hard at all (first one I've done on the remote head) Once I get some time next week I'll edit out the stops for customers & post it on youtube, Lee
derek
i have the zedbull and although i have only programmed a handful of keys with it i find some of the instructions are a little unclear to begin with but once you have used it a few times it becomes easier

Phil Morland
Well, taken the plunge and ordered a Zedbull from Hickleys. Seems to be the best option for me and it'll be here tomorrow.
Lee
good luck, I'm sure you'll be pleased with it. I've done two keys for a Diahatsu & one for a ford so far today \:D/
Phil Morland
I've had the Zedbull for a few days now and cloned a number of keys with success. What a great machine it is! Not sue about ID46 cloning yet though, so haven't done any. What is the proceedure, I think I'm right in saying you have to go to the car, but what is the proceedure then? Thanks in advance. Phil. derek
attach the tpx3 chip to the customers original and turn it to the on position in the ignition 5 times,on your zedbull software there's a help section, type in 46 in the search box and it will give you the step by step guide on what to do

Lee
how hard is it gray? what ever system your using, they all need to pull info from the car for ID46. you run out to the car turn in ignition & come back, it only adds a couple of minutes to programming procedure once your used to it but £20 to the price! Your just stuck in the mud. Lee
Gray
I don't want to faff about going backwards and forwards to cars though. Besides I can't because of my location. I just want to clone keys. And I ain't stuck in the mud. How very dare you.
