stevecoco
Customer just been in, the shop around the corner was unable to change his watch battery. Trouble is they have butchered the lip so my 'pinger offer' has nothing to purchase against. Is there any other method of removal or a tool that I could buy to help sort this problem in the future. Lee
I think mine came from HS Walsh http://www.hswalsh.com/search.aspx?s1=h ... =&f=1&l=10 I'm sure Jevon & Stanley might do it, or an equivalent

Count Muppet
sometimes if you leave the watch back sitting on a nice cold can of drink for 10 minutes, then trying, this can help. GLENGRAVING
Fast Fix Elgin
Dont let the customer see this....... get blue tac scrung it up into a ball, place/squash the watch into it crown and stem first so its laying side up, place the tip of the knife/popper in the slight crack, hit the end of the popper lightly untill you get a purchase.....Now i will go hide under a table

Forest Cobbler
We have not had to resort to the 'screwdriver/hammer/something to brace the watch against' scenario since purchasing a similar tool to Lee's from Apollo. Has earned it's keep several times over V
stevecoco
Yes but look at the cost of the tool, very expensive, you might only use it once or twice, now wheres me hammer.
Forest Cobbler
Believe me, you will use it more than once or twice. Apollo has one for just under £60, but I'm sure we paid less than that. Whatever, it has paid for itself many times over. V
Michael
I use this one. Great price Edit: Sorry link to site, not item. Top one C19024 £22.80 Cousins own brand.
Forest Cobbler
Ha! I looked through the Cousins catalogue and couldn't see one. £22.80 is a bargain you should not turn away from Stevecoco.
