Carlito, I know you do several heads which are cheaper options to the one head fits all, but someone has told me that even with the TK100 you need to stock another head to do all the range, as there is one that the TK100 can't do because of the chip type.

Can you confirm this & tell me which the other head is?

Hi Lee,

as we said during the marketing campaign tK100 can do almost 85% of all vehicles. all fixed code, philips crypto 2, and texas crypto. the only one missing is philips crypto 1 which you can do with KeyLine TK50, batteryless transponder chip coming in the same shape of other keyline heads.

so what you sayin Martin they dont work the boot so its not complete central locking?

is that what your sayin?

It was terry that said it does not do the boot, If that is true, I was wondering if customers accept it - if they were cheap then maybe, but if not -??

It was terry that said it does not do the boot,

Info was based on 2007 Nissan Note.

Using the cars original remote key purely mechanically:

Remove trim cover from passenger door lock, unlock (only this door will be accessible)

Reach over & switch ignition on, the drivers door can now be opened only via inside lever.

The engine can be started & vehicle driven.

But there is no way to release tailgate mechanically, only using remote.

THAT IS THE POINT!

if you cannot open the tailgate, and use the key as normally, then why will people buy them?

If they are very reasonably priced maybe, as Car manufacturers charge 'very silly money'

hence my question,

Hi - strange question to people who have bought this system,

do customers buy these even though the end programmed key does not open the boot?

also how much are you charging for them?

I got a news letter email from Keyline last night & it mentioned there is now a computer utility for updating the 884. Up until now its been a case of dragging & dropping files to the machine which was actually really easy so I'm not sure why a program was needed but obviously they felt it necessary so this morning I downloaded it & gave it a go.

downloaded from

http://web.keyline.it/prodotti/chiavi/d ... lV1-IT.exe

OBVIOUSLY the program default was in Italian! which needed changing!

would it be impolite or unethical to show a

anyway I installed & ran the updater & heres how I got on.

Added possibility to clone PH1A and PH1B transponder on TK50 & more interesting with new horse shoes they say you can clone the likes of

Rover 400, 600, 618, 620 & 800 :?:

onto the tk100 heads?
