kobblers
Hi folks. Cut a Honda key for a customer using Silca NE71RDP but he's having trouble with it as it appears to be too short to go into the ignition fully. I can't find any longer versions of this blank so can anyone advise? It's a T reg Honda Accord. Cheers, Rick.

3D Group
We sell them but remember you will need diagnostics to program it into the car. It will have a ID48 transponder chip.
kobblers
It's not a transpnder key is it? Rick.
Craig Gardner
It's not a transpnder key is it? Rick. honda accord 1999 to 2002 transpondr chip and as dan said it will be id48 use a silca t6 chip unless its a 1998 model that lay around a dealer for a while before it was registered.and at the moment nobody has released id48 cloning it seems to be harder to crack than id46 so it will need programmed to the car diagnostically. craig

kobblers
Thanks Tel, it looks like the second one. He's back tomorrow so I'll let you know how I get on. As undoubtedly it'll now turn out to be a transponder key I'll offer the guy a refund and give him the number of a local vehicle lockie. (Can you recommend a good one in my area?) Cheers, Rick. Auto Key Wizard
Thanks Tel, it looks like the second one (Can you recommend a good one in my area?) Second one should be a fixed code transponder so can be cloned onto T5 charge around 40 quid. And your area is?,

3D Group
This is sometimes a problem putting the reg of the car. It maybe registered as a T-reg 1999 but my guess this car was either a Japan import or more commonly a car produced in 1996 and sold new in 1999. Or the plates could of been false or a cloned car!
