ironplanet uk900
Just got back from the first of four open days at Gravographs impressive showrooms. Excellent, every machine on display you can think of and plugged in ready for a demo. Fantastic FREE workshops done by Bob Butler. Its well worth a visit even if your not in the market for a new machine, as there are plenty of ideas and tips even for the most comprehensive engravers to pick up. Not sales pressure, Just a thougherly enjoyable friendly few hours. Thankyou guys it was a brilliant day.

Lee
We brought a FORD GALAXY, new on an 07 plate when we brought the car it had this list of faults & i tried to reject it, but the laws an arse! all these faults are considered minor defects! 1. Intermittent rattling and stalling of engine on start up was told it started on 1 cyclinder & this was programmable (happened 4 times) 2. Intermittent cut out of engine on cornering (happened 3 times on right turn & once on a roundabout) NO BRAKES, NO STEERING, 3 KIDS IN THE CAR! & thats a minor defect! 3. Front interior light didn't work 4. Lights left on tone intermittently not working when leaving the vehicle (still doesn't work!) 5. Boot button on key randomly didn't work. 6. All lights flicker when doors or boot are shut (computer re-programmed) so far (from memory) since then its had 3 computer upgrades 1 new clutch 1 clutch bearing 1 alternator 1 engine bracket (recall) 1 injector set (recall) 1 new back light 2 new front tires (thanks ford for not setting the tracking when you did the clutch) back seat doesn't collapse properly! & is currently in the dealers with the dash board our because, the wipers went haywire (carried running even when the key was out!) & the alarm keeps going off! I had been buying Fords because my Nan gets a ford pension which entitles me to a healthy discount, but would I buy another???? what do you think! Auto Key Wizard
Reject it Lee, Call ya lawyer today. What's the mileage?, & all work should be warranted. You'd have done better with a C-Max Diesel.
Lee
Reject it Lee, Call ya lawyer today. What's the mileage?, & all work should be warranted. You'd have done better with a C-Max Diesel. My Brothers a solicitor, nothing we could do! the initual problems where sorted out as "Minor" defects, once the car hit 6 months old all warrenty claims are considered "older" & fit a different criteria legally. its a mine field that keeps you going round & round in circles. We had a C-max, but the kids couldn't get their hands between the seats to plug in the seat belts as it was just slightly narrower than the galaxy, so we decided to change it for the galaxy, BIG mistake! this week end saw me following the family on my moped, because the courtesy car wasn't big enough to get all 3 car seats in & me Lee

Lee
Get yourself a Subaru....forget the kids....much more fun In a former life I'd have agreed. Simon my middle one would say "stick a roll gage in it & loose the back seats all together Dad" But that doesn't help! the car is in the limbo stage, of being to new & worth two little to get rid off. Changing it would cost me yet more money............. I was planning on keeping it until the kids where all out of booster seats, o well back to plan B Lee
