Uap plastic insert key

Hi all which blank is successful with this uap key please.

Genuine blanks or Silca UAP2.

Not sure tbh only ever used the Silca UAP2. I did have some of the early genuine UAP blanks but always had issues as they changed the lock profile at some point the keys would either not enter the keyway or get really tight half way in.

Ended up binning them all and using the Silca blanks and never had any back so far.

I have the originals from UAP and they're hit and miss so now I just use them for Carl F keys.

You can cut the UAP on UL2 - we've done loads and had none back, so far.

Funny that.  We never had success on UL2 and so we always use genuine and never get them back.  Odd how we all have different experiences.

Same here as long as I clamp them in the machine using the bottom groove. Only have the odd problem when clamping as a normal key.
