grahamparker
Do any of the forum members currently accept American Express cards ?. We have always avoided them due to the charges they apply which are way more than other card providers but i have received an e-mail from Retail Merchant Services saying that from the 10th December 2018 all American Express cars will have a flat rate of 1.9% which i think is acceptable and will in future accept them as payment. Broms Cobb
we did years ago, and had to wait for payment to get into the bank for roughly 7 days, as everything else went thru in 3 I felt it too much paper work as in time watching the bank. so do not take them. I will if it's the same prices as visa etc, but until then NO Best thing I use one, and get cash back just over 1% used as much as poss for business, got 400£ in a year in commision - bit hypercritical I know but not my problem
Gray
Don't bother with them any more. I had a letter from them saying they had £64 waiting to transfer to my account and to ring them to confirm. They wanted a password from when I set up the account 10 to 15 years earlier which I couldn't remember, they wouldn't release the money. Thieving bastards! x minit uk
