Andy G7
Hello all. We currently do abit of engraving, but are looking to do that little bit more and actually supply a few goods to folk who come into us. At the moment we have what looks like a Pantograph TXL, but wouldn't mind getting something abit computerised, for goods and also engraving our own keys. I do know engravers can cost a fair few £, but what would people recommend to be a good, reliable machine that won't break the bank please? Thank you. Gray
OK Depends on your budget...I'm Umarq through and through as are a few of us on here. Cheaper than the Gravograph machines and just as good...Software is user friendly and backup is good...You have a pantograph machine... If you just want to do flat stuff go for the Gem TX5...If you have the demand go all out and get the Universal 350. It will pay for itself....I know, I had a pantograph and took the plunge and bought a Uni300 4 years ago and I was 56 then......Best thing I ever did....Stevenb still has his pantograph machine, he cant bear to let it go... StevenB
Speak to the companies direct, they often have ex demo or second hand machines at reduced prices. Rona Machines also sell second hand machines.

k4mrc
Gravograph is200 is the best (in this trade anyhow) everyone I know in the trade has one and communication between us is easy, we just email jobs between us all - so if you are serious in buying any machine maybe look around your pals, as they can always help when you are in trouble
