Change of business.

Recommended Posts

I thought I would inform you all of a change in the way I'm running my business:

For those of you of you that don't know I've run a small wholesale company ( to the repair trade) for the past 3 years. Along side this I've worked in my fathers repair shop one day a week to keep my hand in.

He decided recently that it was time to retire and we've been trying to work out how to run both businesses (he wants to work a couple of days a week).

We tried to get a repairer in but nobody suitable was found, I considered getting an employee in to run my business but didnt think that would work. After much thought (didn't sleep for about 3 months!) I have decided to work mainly in the shop and scale down the wholesale business. I think I have become tired of driving around the country and as much as I love running the business it's time for a change. I quite fancy cycling to work and finishing work at 5pm rather than working all evening on invoicing and updating my website.

So as from mid August I will be a full time repairer again (not been the case for 20 years). I'm going to take some time to get back up to speed so except a few questions on here, luckily my dad will still be around to help at busy times.....and awkward jobs!

As for PNC Wholesale, things will be done differently but I am still going to be able to supply you with materials and actually the choice of products will increase.

I can get a huge variety of products from my suppliers in Germany and Belgium so I will supply anyone who is interested a catalogue/list of everything available. On a monthly basis I will be ordering stock for my shop and I will contact anyone interested in adding their orders to mine. Once all stock arrives I will re-distribute it and invoice form PNC Wholesale. No items will keep in stock anymore, but like I said the choice of materials will be much bigger.

Let me know if you would be interested in having a catalogue/list and once they are available I will ensure you receive one.

Thanks for reading
