Darkdude
hey i just joined to pick ur brains, im a photographer, doing a cyberpunk shoot, and for this i need, the model to wear a boot on one foot a shoe on the other, now ive found the perfect heeled shoe http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321144999500? ... 1431.l2649 BUT this boot http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Womens-Ladies ... 1e74da3980 seem too tall. My question is, would a cobbler be able to lower the height of the boot, so that when the girl stands in them, they wont be uneven? and if so what would the cost be? thankl you for your time, if you can answer this it would be great
elfman
yep can be done easy enough cost would vary between each independent would guess at about £

Count Muppet
Do you mean the height of the heel or the length of the boot? The heels look about the same height to me, around 5". If its just for a short photo shoot I'm sure a quick, cheaper fix could be done to get you through it if its just the heel height.
Darkdude
well she will be in it all day. 6-8 hours and i mean so the sort of heel and wedge bit are the same size so she can stand up straight. not lobsidded

completelocks
£30 to reduce the height of a heel? Someone is printing their own money there lol
grahamparker
Think the quote was to lower the sole as well as the heel. The original request was to lower the height of the boot not just the heel (look at the photo's supplied).
elfman
quite right graham the price quoted was to strip down the sole and reduce the internal platform and reassemble then reduce heel hieght accordingly
