lock&quay
Thanks Graham , So would that be a seperate remote from the key with the transponder chip in it or all in one ?
grahamparker
You can buy the ford remotes without a chip and insert a tpx2 then program as reqd. You can also get the flick out blade type that will take a tpx2 as well but obviously you will need a machine capable of doing tpx2 chips.I have an rw4 as well but also a zedbull and may get another as well but not sure which yet. What 1 machine cannot do the others can. My zedbull paid for itself just in ford remotes alone inside 6 months.
Count Muppet
Do these flip versions replace the normal ones? I always get asked for them in place of the normal remote so could probably sell a few. Who's selling them?
completelocks
the flip ones will replace the normal ones, but you will struggle to get a glass chip to fit one unless you butcher the case. Its not just the ford ones that can be done without the aid of a machine... download the zedbull software, there is a PDF you can print out and make a folder for reference. There are actually quite a few you can do manually. Contact Dan on here from 3D uk, they supply remotes and some cases.

Huge transponder generator base. Another 186 eeprom modules. The ability to change a megamos magic 2 to a Vag can transponder and all 4 variants. Carter1
Well I found a car key with a remote. The remote is attached with the key. And there are two buttons on remote. There is a Honda trademark on the back of the key. The key is looking completely new. and not used a single time. So can I use this key for my honda civic. If yes then how? If yes then how? have you read the description of the remote, does it say it is new and unused with the circuit board inside, does it also say it is compatible with your model of Honda, i think what you are actually seeing is an empty case that can be used if your old case is broken rather than a completely new and unused key. But on pressing the buttons a red light blinks on the remote.
completelocks
Well I found a car key with a remote. The remote is attached with the key. And there are two buttons on remote. There is a Honda trademark on the back of the key. The key is looking completely new. and not used a single time. So can I use this key for my honda civic. If yes then how? Its not that simple. It may look like it, but it may have different 'insides' for a different model. Quick example is the Renault Clio, there are more than one 'type' yet they all look the same, and are all for the 'clio' car. They differ greatly in price too depending on the year of car. If you are new to this car game then there is a lot to learn. Only the genuine machines are worth their money. You have back up from the suppliers (invaluable) and you know they will do exactly what they claim. If you are out on the road (or in a shop) and you are stuck cloning a key, you can give the supplier a quick ring and find a helpful ear on the other end of the line. Chinese copies off ebay, can fail, have no help, are out of date, can't be updated, have been known to wipe ECUs, are actually counterfeit (illegal), are a waste of money and are just generally shite AD900 is my pref, but it don't clone remotes. Remotes that cannot be programmed manually (ignition on and pressing buttons) are done with diagnostic stuff, MVP Pro. Not cheap, but well worth the money.
