Fiat TPX 3/4

Just put a Fiat key into our reader and it states WR TPX3/4

now I would usually pass on this as in the past I have known of people trying and failing

but as it is a quiet saturday I am having a go

will advise if successful or not later on.

I've done Fiats without problem, but on the 884 using TK heads rather than tpx3's but most are a straight id46.

Yes it worked!

We use the Sks System, but we have now done 3 - but every now and then they do not work?

the cloner says ywes to copy and then after it says successful it don't work?

but now will keep on as the blanks are only a couple of quid

When you try the key, do you check the new one first or has the customer used their original first?

I heard a rumour that using the original first can affect the new key. Might be a load of crap but worth a thought

Yes, but always check both.

2008/09 they swapped to the 46 chip.

Panda and Scudo have used the ID46 since 2002, the first Fiats to use the new chip, so don't turn these away thinking they are ID48 Eeprom jobs.

Yes, do not turn away, but we have had the occasional one that states 'succesful' and then not worked. But I think maybe the TPX4 chips are better as this seems to be resolved.
