Growster
I am looking to entice a housing organisation to sub out their key-cutting They currently get all their keys elsewhere, I think directly from the importers or manufacturers. For that I am looking to buy a key cutting machine, that can cut dimple keys to code. The volume wouldn't be large, I reckon overall 200-300 keys per year. Which means the volume won't pay for a new Triax from Silca for £13K (plus extras!). I am looking to be able to cut Cisa keys, Tesa and Garrison. Kaba ones are unlikely. Would you have any recommendations? Or a second hand Quattrocode that you don't need or use enough?

grahamparker
Triax is the way to go,you'll be amazed how you ever managed without one. It should easily pay itself off within 3 years tops. We cut all the keys for the local Kia imorters at immingham docks (they supply the blank) and we just charge them for cutting, in the last year they have spent well over £2500 + vat.i have used 3 cutters so not a bad return. We also cut the local ford dealers keys as well, and then there are all the cisa astral, garrison and mul t lock keys which we also cut on a weekly basis. mine has just recently cut it's 5000th key. This new machine on the Market may be of interest for you the A7 (V7) Miracle http://www.sks.co.uk/products/code-cuttingelectronic/miracle-a7/ Sorry for this small advert from the webiste - but I hope this is the best way to show a little on it . The Miracle A7 is the new more powerful big brother to the A5, heavier duty. fast and designed for shop use, with large touch screen and in built software. -------- Basically this will cut HOUSE CYLINDER HOUSE DIMPLE CAR LASER (2 and 4 track) CAR CYLINDER FORD TIBBE (with adaptor) FORD FHS (with Adaptor) colour touch screen Built in full Miracle software cutting package Dual Jaw operation This is so popular (still awaiting our 1st machine) one customer has NOT seen this but has placed Finance order for it already, still without 100% knowing the full price as well And I have around 10 customers already wanting to know when we will have our Demo unit here . so they can come for a Visit to see it in motion . Basically it will be as good as a Unocode and a Triax code for £13k LESS \:D/ Hope this helps you Thanks John
grahamparker
Basically it will be as good as a Unocode and a Triax code for £13k LESS \:D/ Hope this helps you Thanks John I doubt it.If the machine fails you lose the ability to cut all keys. It,s like having a tv/video combined, never as good as having seperate machines. Yes i'm biased and Silca machines cost a hell of a lot more, but thats because they are the best.IMO
Technical Tony original
Also The A7 is using the Same Motors (from the same factory as well) as the Silca Machines, I think this will be the next big thing on the Market Since the A5. Just we have sold More A5 machines in 8 - 9 Months as we ever sold Silca or JMA Computerised machines since I have worked here. I think alot is the price but TBH the aftersales from Lockdecoders is really good (And our selves lol) but they do such good jobs for such a low price in comparison . Would you have any recommendations? Or a second hand Quattrocode that you don't need or use enough? Have you seen the KL Versa, we have a great Ex-demo for a very reduced price you can call me or PM for details. the versa was first specialised machine for decoding and cutting high security dimple and laser keys and graphic etching of the key heads. This stand machine contains an up-to-date database containing the codes and technical parameters for optimal key cutting of tons of dimple and vehicle keys; the machine can also be linked to Instacode. Keys are decoded in seconds and cut extremely quickly to an incredibly high quality. Versa is equipped with 3 standard jaws for all types of vehicle keys, and one master jaw for dimple keys. Installation of the key is simple and quick and decoding and cutting is all done in a contained cutting room-keeping your workplace clean and safe .many extra jaws and cutters are available for special purposes. The software is displayed through a 7" colour touch screen and is incredibly simple to use, the search function can be controlled from key blank, key code, vehicle or lock manufacture and the full key blank reference's and pictures are shown through each step of the processes. When decoding the versa will also instruct you what blank you have inserted. Please see the following link http://www.keyline.it/eng/catalog/electronic-key-cutting-machines/for-laser-and-dimple-keys/ and check out these videos http://www.youtube.com/user/KEYLINEmultimedia/videos?query=versa Thanks
Growster
This was a great marketing post, Davostech, and I am salivating. However, my dear Helen Keller: I can't get in touch with you, not by email, not by ringing, not by leaving messages. I readily admit, that this is probably my own fault: I have never managed to easily get the attention of women. Please, Davostech, get in touch with me and talk to me about this machine. Growster
Good Morning, I have beeing talking to W H Software myself, I believe they are looking into things ...... WH Software say they put out feelers for more info on the A5 and the upcoming A7, but haven't heard back. If especially the A7 were to cooperate with Instacode, then that would heighten my interest by a lot.
