Lee
I don't generally plug anything on the site & get quite a lot of odds & sods sent to me in the hope I will, but these really caught my eye through the post today from Robin Healy Pink PU tops! However i can't recall ever having a pair of stillettos in with pink pu tops ? ? ? ? ? Have they been manufactured due to demand ?
Lee
I also got a nice promo card for the counter, I think they've been produced for an upsell, bit like the funkeys. Yesterday I used them to disguise a price increase on my standard stilettos \:D/ & it seamed to work! Lee
keithm
I think it's a great fun idea, there's nothing to stop you creating a market for them, especially if you're in a City shop. I often used to find that when one lady gets to have this type of thing done, she goes back to the office and tells her freinds about it and down they come, happy days! Be ingenious, it could nett you a few quid and find you new customers

StevenB
I'm not aware of a huge demand for pink PU tops, however, I welcome a bit of innovation. It's good to know that if somebody comes into the shop with a shocking pair of shoes saying 'can you put me some new pink heels on these?' the answer will be yes! Keep the new products coming! Colouredheeltips
These were specially made for a cancer charity project and the manufacturer had a lot left over from production as they have to produce a large minimum quantity to make it worth while purging their machines with a different colour. They were our inspiration!

Colouredheeltips
The problem is no one knows they exist. If you stuck a girly pair of shoes with them on in the window I bet they would!

Colouredheeltips
They sound great Lee! We are putting a lot of effort into letting the public know about the tips via social media and advertising to fashion conscious women so hopefully we can bring in more of the younger generation into your shops if we succeed. We are doing our best to promote the shoe repair trade as we personally couldn't live without you guys, you have saved us many pairs of shoes. =D> We can but try gsc. StevenB
We are putting a lot of effort into letting the public know about the tips via social media and advertising to fashion conscious women Excellent! The more promotion of the trade that occurs, the greater the chance of us all benefitting, if it's done correctly. We are doing our best to promote the shoe repair trade Promoting the shoe repair trade, or shoe repairing in general, whether professional or DIY? If I may quote from your website: Trade and retail customers are both welcome to buy our fantastic new product. I appreciate that you start by saying: We recommend getting them fitted by a professional shoe repairer as they can file them and size them to perfectly complement your shoes However, to then give instructions (below) of how to DIY leaves you in danger of one of these Alternatively, you can change the tips yourself using a pair of pliers and a hammer: With a pair of pliers try to get a hold of the old heeltip and pull it out. If you are struggling to get it out find the strongest person you can find to do it for you, or alternatively move left and right and eventually the tip will come out. Make sure you pull it out as straight as you can to avoid breaking the tip. Simply replace the old heel tip with the new one and use a hammer to drive it into the heel of your shoe. If you don't have a hammer you can knock the shoe against a hard surface such as a piece of wood. Selling to trade & the public never goes down particularly well, do you offer a good trade price or are we expected to pay the same as the public? And are you simply selling direct to the public so that when the public comes into our shops they don't get a blunt 'can't do them, can't get coloured heels' or is it that you will not make enough money selling only to the trade?
