Gray
A. I dont like the use of bands on sole edges (whats wrong with a decent sharp cutter) and he needs a welt roller B. Somebody buy that Irish guy an outsole stitcher, bless him. Whilst most of us can hand stitch (I lost the will to live)

Gray
Buy it then don't think you can get tables any more I think I had the last one. And that was soft as sh1t. But that may have been a lie to extort more money out of me. Conversation went like this "have you got a table for a Victor?" Sharp intake of breath.......got one left..can't get them any more...that'll be £££££££'s...."OK I'll take it fekin machine is cutting bottom threads like a bugger, no use without it". Count Muppet
I know it would save time to do the sole and heel at the same time, but how does he know they will balance correctly when finished? does everyone do it this way?
Lee
I prefer stitching before heeling, for two reasons 1. you can stitch closer to the heel block 2. you can balance the shoes more appropriately we're a fussy bunch aren't we! It's hardly a threat when they are predominately old obsolete machines though Gray, as for tickling up old tables, it's not cost effective to do this in our opinion, thats not to say it can't be done
