locksnstuff
6 cuts on the Tibbe 4 possible depths (1, 2, 3, 4) but 1 of the cuts always has to no. 4 So 4x4x4x4x1 therefore I make is 1024 possibilities, but I do stand to be corrected. Auto Key Wizard
There will never be any more than two cuts of the same depth adjacent There will never be any more than three cuts of the same depth in any Bitting (cut combination)
Flash
Many thanks for the replies. I didn't need the answer to the question, it was to settle a debate we had about the possible number of cutting codes and if there was a way of calculating the number. grahamparker
In reply to lee's question how do you know, If i look at my silca skp software it lists available codes as 1 to 2330 and this infomation is supplied to silca by the lock manufacturers so should be correct.
