Key system, by Davenport Burgess. May 2007

I have recently replaced & moved my entire set of key boards to a smaller area of my unit and had to find a “space savingâ€

when I ordered them I simply asked what boards where available and asked for one of each, I assumed they would be a "current" set of boards but sadly this wasn't the case.

Thats why this set only scored 2 stars. This is also the reason I made this comment

I wish I hadn’t brought any of the printed boards (except the mortice ones) but had used blank boards to create my own system.
A superb system, but it simply wasn't upto speed!

dont you think it's time they brought a new one in with the upto date transponder systems built in?

seems to me that the key cutting suppliers make a lot of money selling "Old Keys"

It's true there are a lot of slow moving blanks in the car range now. It's probably better to look at a plastic top board which includes all the relevant car blanks pre transponder days.

We did consider introducing a transponder board, but because of how fast technology is moving, a lot of the blanks on that would also have been obsolete now.

We do offer a compartment box for transponder blanks which is easily updatable and has the added security of keeping the blanks secure.

Thats interesting. how many blanks does it hold, and how much is it.

any chance of a picture for those who don't have the luxury of visiting your wonderful factory in person.

an easy option (in my mind) worth consirering is to have pod blanks as normal (without the chip) and possibly at the bottom of the board little pigeon hole box's with the different chips in.

that way it should be easier for us all.

i have not seen sks's boards yet - but will look.
