    Well I've been sharpening steel forepart cutters since the 80's on the WHB 700 using the attachment supplied. Still have four fingers & a thumb on each hand.

    We are not discussing the opening of a vehicle, but removal of the ignition from an already unlocked one, But i see your logic.

    Why do they bring ignition barrels in Rick? Total key loss? If they're non-transponder systems you could mail them to someone like me, & have a key made to it

    The best way is to place some Blutack by the hole in the reader, & push chip vertically into that. I do this when preparing transponders with logic.

    VW Ignition Lock Removal Call top of key way 12 O'clock. At 11 O'clock mark a line along the ignition housing. (from cast lip on front of housing heading back towards steering column). Measure 12mm back along this line from the cast lip on ignition housing. Punch/drill hole at this position to find retaining spring. Push spring down to release lock. Should find code on side of barrel.

    So this is an Audi A4 Manufactured between 1/9/00 to 28/2/01 The key is Silca HU66AT6 & uses transponder T6 I.D 48 Crypto, this cannot be cloned. Looking at the Application List VAG isn't supported What made you think it was a Fixed Code transponder Minit?

    Well that would be the wrong way to attach leather soles!! Adhesive should be applied to the welt & waist on the shoe only, & to the outer area of the sole, leaving the middle area clear, This allows the sole to breath & saves on adhesive too. \:D/ Carrier bags my arse
