rapidlocks Posted August 7, 2023 Report Share Posted August 7, 2023 car keys online sell an oem xe key as well as an aftermarket xe key , but be aware some programmers doing this by obd can only use their own id changing keys and not oem or aftermarket. idealy this should be done properly on the bench whether you can code it depends largely on what equipment you have and will use . keithm 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
smokey08 Posted August 7, 2023 Report Share Posted August 7, 2023 The correct way is to replace the KVM then configure it with JLR SDD or 2018- JLR Pathfinder/topix cloud. Normally I remove the KVM and flash it with a virgin file to save replacing it. Any other method is just poor workmanship as either the missing key will still start car or the emergency start won't work on the new key. Keys are readily available from most suppliers.
